Yogurt Cake 


Ingredients
3 eggs
1 plain = natural yogurt This cup will be your measuring cup
1 yogurt cup (1 finger less) of oil
2 yogurt cups of sugar (1 finger less in each cup)
3 yogurt cups of flour
1 tea spoon of baking powder

Orange zest form 1 or 1\2 of orange (optional)
Orange juice from 1 or 1\2 of orange (optional)

Preparation
Separate whites from yolks and keep them aside.
With the blender mix the 3 egg whites until firm peaks are seen.

Prepare the oven tray (can be any shape) by greasing it with  margarine and sprinkling  flour.
Pre-heat the oven to 180C = 360F.

Procedure
With a blender mix well the 3 yolks with 2 cups of sugar. After it add oil and the plain yogurt and mix again. Add 3 cups of flour with the baking powder, the orange zest and the orange juice.
Without beating, mix the firm egg whites with the batter.
Put the batter in the tray and bake it for around 40 minutes in the pre-heated oven 180C = 360F.
Let it cool down for few minutes and then take it out from the tray.
Different fillings can be used. Cut (horizontally) the cake in half and spread "crunchy Ovomaltine" on it. Cover the top with a thin layer of "Nutela" and decorate it with white sugar powder.
